<image:title>Erin DeNola - Erin DeNola</image:title>
<image:caption>MS, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist, Executive Director Hi, I’m Erin DeNola! I am so glad that you found Skilled Therapy & Play Services. We specialize in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Behavior Therapy for children, and help our clients reach their fullest potential in their daily activities, tasks, and routines. Early on in my career, I worked as a behavior therapist in a neurodivergent school and discovered OT during my time there. I knew very quickly that this line of work was my mission. I have always had a passion for working with children, and once I became a pediatric occupational therapist, that passion only grew. I started this practice to fill a gap, which includes carry over, education, community, and a more personalized approach. I have always thrived at explaining the complexities of the nervous system, musculoskeletal system, and behaviors to parents and providers, and have been able to amplify this with the team that’s been built at STPS. At STPS we understand the importance of family dynamics, parent education, and collaboration. We also value clients knowing that they have a place where they feel understood and heard. A place where therapists are positive, empathetic, and knowledgeable, and clients truly look forward to their sessions each week. We get down to the “why” and strive to be as specific as possible, so that therapy is meaningful and tailored. I have extensive experience working with children and young adults on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD/ADD, Sensory Processing Differences, Learning Differences, difficulty with coordination and Cerebral Palsy. I help my clients progress in their sensory processing, motor skills, handwriting, emotional regulation, executive function, social skills, behavioral needs, and independent living. I understand how important movement, play, and the just right challenge is, for optimal development. Certifications/Trainings: Astronaut Training Social Thinking Curriculum Brazelton Touchpoints Approach Julia Harper’s H.O.P.E Protocol including reflex integration and emotional regulation Wilbarger Brushing Protocol (originally trained in the intervention by Julia Wilbarger) Sensory Integration and Primary Movement Bal - A - Vis - X Handwriting Without Tears Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests Safe and Sound Protocol by Integrated Listening Systems and Therapeutic Listening Therapeutic Listening by Vital Links Rhythmic Movement Training for ADHD Brain Gym</image:caption>

<image:caption>M.A., BCBA, Board Certified Behavior Analyst Kristina has been practicing as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2018 and has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for 10 years. Prior to ABA, she was supporting adults with developmental delays for 3 years, while attending her undergrad. She received her Master of Arts degree in Professional Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Dominican University of California. Kristina has experience working in a wide variety of settings, including schools, homes, telehealth, and centers. Kristina believes that understanding a child’s learning history is a vital part in planning for their care and that therapy is not a “one shoe size fits all”. She meets families and children where they are at in their journey. She believes that using an empathetic approach while providing sound clinical judgement creates a foundation for a therapeutic relationship. Kristina strives to create a fun environment that is client-led while using a combination of customizable techniques and interventions to teach new skills and modify behaviors, with the use of principles derived from the science of behavior. In addition to working directly with her clients, Kristina shares her love for ABA through educating parents and other service providers on tools to promote their independence. She specializes in School-Based ABA, In-Home ABA, Naturalistic Environment Teaching (NET), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), and caregiver education and staff training using Behavior Skills Training (BST).</image:caption>
