Loriel R oman
CCC-SLP
Loriel is a speech-language pathologist who believes communication grows best through connection, play, and what's meaningful to each child. She earned her Master's degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from San Francisco State University.
Loriel uses child-led, play-based, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches to create therapy sessions where children feel safe, supported, and excited to communicate. Drawing on her background as an educator, she brings a strengths-based lens to every session, meeting children where they are and building on what they can already do. She has experience supporting children with language delays, social communication differences, and those who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Loriel believes in close family and caregiver partnership, working collaboratively with caregivers so that communication strategies fit naturally into daily routines. She is bilingual in English and Tagalog and is passionate about supporting children and families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
